Two Newsletters from MP Viersen Arriving

Ottawa, ON – Throughout the year, Arnold Viersen, MP for Peace River – Westlock, sends newsletters to constituents to keep them up to date on his work and get seek their feedback.

Over this month, constituents will be receiving two newsletters. The first is an Update on Legislation from Parliament, and reviews five important bills such as Bill C-7—Assistance in Dying, Bill S-203—Protecting Kids from Exposure to Pornography and Bill C-233—Ending Sex Selective Abortion.

Most importantly, it seeks input from constituents on how they would like MP Viersen to vote on each Bill. For constituents who would like to provide their input but may not have received the newsletter, they can view the newsletter and fill out the survey online here.

“I am always grateful for the feedback I receive from constituents through these newsletters. It helps me effective champion their views and concerns in Ottawa,” says MP Viersen.

The second newsletter is MP Viersen’s annual Christmas Greetings to constituents. Traditionally, he has provided lists of local Christmas eve services in the newsletter.

However, this year changing Covid regulations may lead to last minute changes in service locations or availability. As such, MP Viersen is inviting constituents to find the most current Christmas Eve service details here on his website. Further, if there are services not listed, churches can email their details to Arnold.Viersen.A4@parl.gc.ca.
