Congratulations Jason Kenney

Last week, Albertans were clear: they want an Alberta that is strong and free. I want to congratulate Jason Kenney and the whole UCP team on their win. It was a hard-fought campaign.

With Jason Kenney as premier, Albertans have a leader who will bring economic growth back to Alberta. I look forward to Jason’s leadership steering the province I love towards a better future.

A big political change has come to Canada. All across the country, we see provinces rejecting debt and big government by choosing conservative leadership, including Alberta and Prince Edward Island.

But we still have a Liberal Government in Ottawa. The Trudeau Government is wrapped in scandal and has demonstrated how little it cares for Alberta and the rest of the nation.
